Improving Management of Fish Spawning Aggregations with the Western Province
The project centres on the need to better manage and conserve the biodiversity of the coastal marine ecosystem in the light of increasing human population pressures and the impact of climate change on sea and reef conditions in the western province. The project will focus on working with communities within the Roviana and Vonavona lagoons. The ultimate goal of the project is to establish a sustainable collaborative network with partners and communities throughout the New Georgia Archipelago.
