Turupu Island Coastal Water Management Project
There is a deep passage of blue water which is rich in various stocks of fish and other marine habitats. This makes the coastal areas of the locality to be rich with various fish stocks and marine life which the Turupu community wish to protect from over fishing etc. This is because there is a reduction of fish and other marine resources in and around the coastal shores. Therefore, the project is to install physical conservation boundaries around the intended conservation areas to clearly mark out the conservation boundaries.
