Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Education outreach will be conducted to primary schools in Caye Caulker, San Pedro and one school in Belize City. Apart from classroom sessions, students along with their teachers will participate on field trips to Swallow Caye Wildlife Sanctuary.
Project sustainability
The project was able to institute measures that would allow the group to properly manage the protected area. Infrastructure was put in place and the group is now able to collect entrance fees which is used for ranger salaries and continued managment of the sanctuary.
