The project established a local structure and mechanism for continuous information campaign on environmental concerns. It also pilot tested three (3) modules on biodiversity conservation and environmental laws in five (5) villages.

The project promoted awareness on the global environment, particularly on the upland and coastal ecosystems.

Trainings included basic concepts on ecology, facilitating skills, and environmental law and biodiversity conservation.

Women were involved in the project, particularly during the conduct of the information campaign.
