Northern Plateau Conservation Project, Bamyan
The project focuses on the protecting the proposed protected area of Northern Plateau by supporting the communities to install passive solar houses in verandas of their homes. This reduces pressure on the natural brushwood which is being massively used in the area for cooking and heating. The project not only prevent land degradation in proposed protected area, but also would reduce the emission of green house gases to the air.
