This project was successful in its objectives as it served to educate participants of important environmental issues and opportunities. Through training and practical exercise, the project also enhanced the capacities of participants to engage in the preservation of our environment. The project also served to bring greater attention to and stimulate discussions on the natural beauty of our island nation; the fact that many of us take it for granted and the importance of altering our actions to ensure its protection and conservation.

The school art programmes across St. Kitts and Nevis require great attention. The state of each programme is drastically different to the other and each require significant personal investment on the part of the individual teachers. Despite this however, the commitment of teachers is evident in the work of their talented students. Patrons of the exhibit regularly express their delight and surprise and the extent of artistic talent exhibited. The students were successful in articulating their vision of Our Land of Beauty. They successfully met the target of producing 100 pieces for the exhibition.

? Public schools on St Kitts and Nevis benefited from the receipt of art supplies
? Art students across St Kitts and Nevis benefited from the opportunity to sharpen their skills and display their works as part of a prominent exhibition.
