Strengthening CSOs capacity and rights to ensure fully participation and good governance on environment protection and natural resources management in Cambodia.
The project is aiming at promoting of dialogues between CSO, Gov?t and private sector that contribute to implementation of MEAs (multilateral environmental agreements) and national/sub-national policy, planning
and legal frameworks by organizing the National Farmers Forum which jointly organizing by NGO Forum on Cambodia, related ministries and other DPs, different policy makers, researchers,private sector and small scale farmers representatives will be invited to present and share results and experiences on how to provide better support to small farmers and producers. In addition to that the project also conduct a number of consultation workshops on new Policy formulation such as the draft environmental and Natural Resources Code and the final draft law of Food Quality & Safety of Agriculture Products for CSO, government, and private sector, youth, indigenous peoples, women, and disabled people to share their concerns and inputs/comments those draft policies. Project also support capacity building of 300 people who are members of NECA and CCCN and other CSOs partners to be able to influenced key decision making for effective implementation laws and policies related to climate change, agriculture and water governance in Cambodia. Documentation of lesson learns and good practices also part of this project.
