Project expected results include:

1. A set of criteria and project contributions are identified by the NAP drafting agencies for developing, promulgating and guiding other provinces.
2. Successful models for Climate change adaptation are recommended for provinces to adopt in developing and implementing the NAP.
3. Government agencies recognize the importance, role and voice of social organizations in their consultation and support of the NAP.
In addition, co-operation with the NAP drafting agencies in an effective way initially will contribute to empowering and strengthening the relationship between social organizations and government agencies


Project sustainability:

It is extremely important to ensure the sustainability of project activities after the completion of the project. This will be emphasized in the design of the project and during the development of the project implementation plan. Promoting the participation of VNGO & CC core members, CCWG in the process of defining the objectives of the project, as well as full participation in project activities will be solved by the Project Management Commitee.
The project will strive to achieve the essential goals identified by the VNGO&CC and CCWG. Therefore, SRD is committed to the highest level of participation. The project is one-year that is integrated and shared with other SRD projects to optimize resources and expand collaboration possibilities among projects of the same organization. The Project Management Commitee also has an email list, fanpage, VNGO & CC and CCWG websites to regularly share information about NAP, successful adaptation models, call for encouragement of commitment of VNGO & CC and CCWG members contributing models and propaganda in their localities to successfully implement the project. This is the foundation for the program's impact to be replicated and sustainable.
DCC and provinces plan to promote and disseminate effective models for adaptation to climate change at community level and integrate into regional and provincial adaptation plans.
Commune / District People's Committees participating inherit climate change adaptation models to build the socio-economic development plan in the coming years, integrate local credit programs in coordination with Extension facilities to help communities replicate the model.
Relevant local programs (new rural program, REDD + program) apply replication models of CC adaptation to other communities within the framework of sustainable livelihood development for community.
A guideline for provinces identifies, integrates adaptation models, promotes the participation of CSOs in the development and implementation of NAP.
VNGO & CC, CCWG and DCC have long-term cooperation in monitoring and promoting the implementation of NAP.
