Women Initiative in soil and water conservation in Ayorya traditional areas to promote innovative agroecology models and mechanisms for conservation and management of carbon stocks for the improvement of livelihoods in the Black Volta Catchment Area
The project seeks to promote women involvement in landscape management through soil and water management sustainable land management and promotion of agroecological farming and woodland management for the improvement of livelihoods in Ayorya community and its environs. The project will build capacities of rural women to establish climate smart groundnut farms to enable the farmers produce reliable harvest and increase yield and support the women to invest in integrated groundnut processing enterprise.
