Oasis and waste management guidelines
Under the project, the grantee will fence 13 springs that are on the verge of drying up due to livestock trampling and plant protection strips on 3 crop fields. This will help reduce soil erosion, resulting in larger harvests. The project will prevent the pollution of spring water, providing drinking water for human and livestock consumption. It will also prevent waterborne diseases. A manual to be produced under the second project will become a reference book for researchers, scholars and all those working in waste management plants and services.
