The project aims bio-diversity conservation through millet farming and setting up solar based Millets Processing centre.
The project established solar powered millets processing units for value addition, decrease of drudgery for rural women, and earn better prices for the agro-based products. Another component is the publication of millets recipe book for mainstreaming of millets-based diets in the larger society. The project also involves imparting training for SHGs on improved hillbroom manufacturing, thereby trying to ensure decent returns.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
15 women are imparted new skills of operation and management of processing units. 15 women will be imparted with the skill and knowledge of value addition and quality control of millets-based agro products.
A millet recipe book is published for KM( uploaded )
Capacity - Building Component
30 women are provided training on value addition, quality control and packaging of millets-based agro products. 10 Women SHGs are mobilized and provided training on operation, management and maintenance of the processing units
