Promotion of Environment Stability through Insolated Metallic Portable Stoves
Specific Objectivet#1:

1.4.1 Baseline Survey:
Baseline Survey will be conducted to collect basic information on what is situation in the proposed Coastle area UC Chhachh Jahan Khan is of Taluka Shah Bunder, district Sujawal. Data will be collected by interviewers using a structured and standardized close and open-ended questionnaire. The data of baseline survey will support in identifying and selection of beneficiaries.


1.4.2 Bound building meetings with communities
Bond building meeting with the targeted communities will be conducted during and after baseline survey in targeted villages. The meeting will help to share the actual aims and objectives of the intervention and create space to involve community for sharing ideas in support of better environment. These meeting will support KCCA team to identify village activists, influential persons, and people willing to step towards better environment. Organization will onboard them to sustain project outcome.

1.4.3 Formation of 10 Community Based Organization
1.4.4 Community Based Organization (CBOs) will be formed at village level. Each CBO will be at village level with supporting hand in selection of beneficiaries. Village activists will be encouraged and involved in CBOs. These CBOs will be formed during awareness sessions in the selected villages of the targeted areas.

1.4.5 Training of 10 Community Based Organization
After the formation of Community Based Organization (CBOs), trainings will be given to them for forest management and other initiatives to support biodiversity and the participation of all segments of society. Training will be focus to involve CBO members in identifying village issues particularly environment issues and find ways to solve those issues.

1.4.6 Community awareness campaign
1.4.6.1 10 Awareness sessions with community
Awareness sessions will be held to aware the community about environmental issues and problems in the targeted villages. Every session, 25 to 30 members will be ensured to participate where benefits of forest, trees, and better environment will be shared. Beside, Communities will be emphasized to plant more saplings in the area for green and better environment.

1.4.6.2 10 Coordination meetings with CBOs
Coordination meetings with CBOs will be organized in the targeted villages. These sessions will be held with special focus to involve member of CBOs and onboard them in project activities. 10 sessions will be held before the distribution of insolated metallic stoves and during and after distribution.

1.4.6.3 Coordination meetings with influential and village activists & CBOs
KCCA will conduct 10 Coordination meetings with local influential and village activists to involve to involve them in project activities. These meetings will support organization to onboard influential and activist at village level. Those will support in activities and in identifying beneficiaries.





1.4.7 Consultative meeting with authorities

1.4.7.1 Consultative Meetings with district authorities Forest Department to sensitize on environmental issues.
Five (5) Consultative meetings will be organized with district authorities and line departments to share the issues of the environment in the area and sensitize them. Meetings will help keeping them on board and involve them on the ground by making them responsible to implement law effectively and accordingly which result in sustainable outcomes. These meeting will be organized with involvement of communities after sensitization and awareness of community who themselves share the issues of environment in the area.


Specific Objectivet#2:

1.4.8 Identification of 555 women beneficiaries for provision of Insulated Metallic (portable) Stoves
555 women beneficiaries will be selected in the targeted area to provide technical support and they will be provided and installed portable Insulated Metallic Stoves which are energy efficient stoves. Identification will be done with involvement CBO of respective villages. vulnerable houses will be selected for the intervention and support.

1.4.9 Training to household Women for using Insulated Metallic (portable) Stoves
After the identification and selection of beneficiaries with involvement of CBOs, trainings will be given to household women who will be focused in the training on usage of insulated metallic stoves in their house. They will be trained regarding Does and Don?ts of the metallic stoves for sustainable use. Women will be trained as they are the primary users of stoves in the houses.

1.4.10 Provision and Installation of 555 Insulated Metallic (portable) Stoves to selected beneficiaries
After the identification and training to local blacksmiths, facilitation will be given to beneficiaries for making Insolated Metallic Stoves. This stove is kind of stove which can be moved from one place to another easily.


1.4.11 Distribution Ceremony of Insulated Metallic Stoves
One distribution ceremony will be organized where beneficiaries of stoves will be invited and distributed stoves among them. In the ceremony, all the stakeholders, civil society members, influential, and communities will be participating in the event. Purpose of the ceremony will be involving all community to do such practice which support better environment. Does and Don'ts regarding the stove will be shared with community.

1.4.12 Experience Sharing workshop and availing opportunity for beneficiaries to share experience
One experience sharing workshop will be organized at UC level where the members of CBOs will be invited ensured to participate to share innovative ideas and change made by the intervention.
