Objective: 1

? Rehabilitation of Chach Suleman lake through rain harvesting

Activities under the first objective:

? Store excess water for use at subsequent times.
? To built a Dyke around lake
? Introduction of rain water harvesting technology
? To plant trees on the banks of of lakes
? Rehabilitate/Improve the existing traditional water harvesting structures.

Objective: 2

? Awareness raising and capacity building of 3000 community members and other stakeholders on environmental issues.

Activities under the 2nd objective:

1. Conduct extensive baseline survey of the villages surrounding the Lake Chhachh Suleman Khan.
2. Continuously community mobilization meetings for formation of 10 COs with equal participation of female and make effective coordination for the implementation of project activities.
3. Select the group of 25 activist persons with the equal participation of female for the capacity building through the trainings.
4. Conduct the 10 awareness sessions on health hygiene on village level.
5. Organize 02 training workshops for community members on environmental issues and community organization.
6. Organize one District seminar with the participation of 200 members and other stakeholders in each for awareness on environmental issues rehabilitation Lake Chhachh Suleman Khan Lake.
7. Publication of 2000 posters in 2 different themes.
8. Publications of 2000 calendars of 2010.
9. Arrange the one consultative workshop of stake holders.
10. Conduct the visit of Stakeholders (Media, NGOs, CBOs)
