Activities for planning and design of large full project was conducted in Kiripia, Kamuga and Pombul villages attended by the organisation farmers, including a total of seven (7) females and twenty six (26) males.

Three (3) government officers from the department of agriculture and the national agriculture research institute who are working to develop resilient crops against the differing events from frost, to drought, to heavy rainstorms that affect and destroy crops and the current cultivation times and methods. These officers participated in the planning discussion to raise awareness on work they are undertaking and how they can offer some useful interventions to communities build their resilience against disaster.

Some long term benefits that were discussed and agreed to for large project implementation included:
- Introduction of new crop variety,
- need more livestock multiplication for the communities,
- Trainings needed to all farmers to improve cultivation methods of various crops,
- Source additional funding to extend training to entire Mt. Giluwe population of farmers,
- Construction of two new screen houses or nurseries that can generate new plant and crop varieties for distribution to farmers.
- Important consideration also was for water supply and or irrigation system to gardens during drought or frost,

Identified risks that all members to be aware of during project implementation include:
- Drought and frost,
- water drying up during drought,
- excessive rain,
- landslides,
- pest and disease,
- lose of soil fertility
After discussions to identify this potential threats and risks, measures of mitigation and or prevention were agreed to also.
