1. Controlled roaming animals from damaging watershed areas, or contaminating the drinking water supply of the village water reservoir in the stream between the two villages. Implementation of wire fencing to control wandering animals as the first and foremost activity, ensured the success of other later activities such as crop planting in plots and tree planting along stream banks.
2. The banana shoots, coconuts and cocoa seedlings are planted. In later months and years these should assist greatly in diversifying food crops from the usual reliance on cash
crop of ava, and also to replenish the older coconuts with its younger trees ensuring more supply of nuts.
3. Planting of native trees and shrubs along stream banks in a certain pattern as demonstrated by MNRE Watershed division to our community during implementation training, was successful for better watershed management. Improved our drinking water quality
4. The two tilapia hatchery ponds for Musumusu village were fully constructed successfully in December 2018. Tilapia fish fry were then added and has successfully breeded in March 2019.
5. The remaining two tilapia ponds for Salimu village funded by the third and last tranche of US$4,000 has been fully constructed. It has passed inspection by Fisheries division staff and now awaits their supply of tilapia fry. This aquaculture venture will assist in improving community livelihoods as an example from inshore fishery resources. Consequently with this last project works the entire project has been completed.

Descibe the immediate benefits received by the participants and/or the recipient communities:
1. Installation of barbed wire fence and pig fence wire along small farm plots of village families immediately stopped roaming pigs, dogs, cows and even chickens from wandering onto existing and newly grown crops such as bananas, coconut seedlings, etc. and doing damage.
2. Newly obtained equipment and tools such as 2 chainsaws for the two villages, and shovels, bush knives, gloves, fencing pliers, crow bars for families enabled installation of fences in farm plots and along streams, and growing of native trees along stream banks.
3. Improvement in drinking water quality and less discolouration of village streams during heavy rainfalls.

Describe long term benefits:
1. No more damage to crops and food trees from wandering domestic and wild animals.
2. Existing crops in farm plots are growing better with less damage to newly installed fences which now controls roaming animals.
3. The newly grown coconuts, bananas etc contributes to increasing existing crops and ensures new coconuts replacing older coconut trees ensuring more supply of nuts for consumption.
4. Enhancement of watershed areas and water quality and less soil erosion along stream banks with newly grown local trees and shrubs.
5. Less frequent flooding of small dry river banks and streams.
