Community based Sustainable Forest and Land Resource Management through Adapting Climate Change (SU-FALAM)
The project area in the in Lekhani and Biun villages in Baglung has peculiar landscape. The land mass is gradually drifting downward posing serious threat to the settlement both upstream and downstream. Thus the project proposes to initiate 3 strategic initiatives -first build irrigation canal to divert water to reduce percolation, second build retention wall to break and divide the drifting landmass and plant fodder, bamboo and N2 fixation plant to stabilse the erosion prone areas.
