The tourism industry in Albania has been maturing slowly but continuously. After meeting the most emergent demands for quantity, today, competition has shifted mostly on the quality. There is strong link between small scale tourism and local agro biodiversity while at the same time local agro products struggle to reach the profitability threshold due to difficulty of finding markets.

This project will be implemented in the Pogradec municipality. The area is very attractive summer as well as year around destination for tourists and at the same time it has a very active agricultural production. The project will aim in establishing links with the tourism industry and local producers with the aim of promoting local agro biodiversity
