GEPA SUSTAINABLE LAND USE PROJECT
To enable rural farmers and their communities adopt good agricultural practices that promote protection and conservation of natural resources and enhance sustainable land use practices.
The project will focus on innovations with positive impacts on climate change mitigation and these include: sustainable land use; energy saving stoves use, sustainable agro-forestry management practices &beekeeping, de-silting & protecting water supplies by defining social fencing and environmental sanitation through the use of garbage banks & incinerators for selected schools, inter-cropping practice for food security, and drip ? micro-irrigation.
