Organic Farmer Association (OFA) of Peak district, Xiengkhouang province is established in 2012, the main purpose of this community base organization is to produce the organic vegetables to sell at the local market. Each year they need fertilizer 73 tons/year to use in organic agricultural production, however the member of the association can produce the fertilizer only 28 tons/year, this means they have to buy from other places about 45 tons/year, but if they can produce this kind of material by themselves this will also be able to increase the yield to support the need of the local market and this can also help to increase their income generation to their own family. To produce bio-fertilizer is also the difficult task for them due to lack of knowledge and experience. Therefore, the project aims to help the community on how to produce bio-fertilizer, which is the main factor of the organic vegetable production by training and practice in the target villages, moreover the location of organic vegetable production is on the high area and if the use materials in the agricultural production are friendly to the environment, the recipient environment is also safe especially the downstream will not have the adverse impact on the downstream as the branch of the Mekong River, which is considered to be the international water.
