Floristic study of Herbal plant species project in Shah Foladi, Bamyan is focusing on enhancing knowledge and understanding of Shah Foladi biodiversity and protection of biodiversity through conducting a floristic study of the Shahe Foladi protected area. This will result into strengthening community stewardship and commitment for the protection of the landscape and the public awareness raising.

Project Characteristics and Results
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
ARSCO will use different methods of communications to promote the public awareness of the people who live in Shah Foladi area and people beyond the area . The methods will be: conducting community awareness raising sessions, community mobilisation sessions, publishing reasearch report, publishing particular brochures on "value of Shah Foladi and landscape conservation". In addition, ARSCO has different active social media networks such as (Facebook, Twitter) to promote the public awareness.
Project sustainability
After the project is done, the result of floristic studies will be used as base and knowledge for both governmental and non-governmental environmental organizations to plan for any further program aimed at conservation Shah of Foladi. As experts believe what makes Foldi unique and special is the diverse Flowers and plants however, some of them are not seen anywhere across the world, flora study of the region is the first step for any further conservation program. Also the book ?flora of Shah Foladi? will be used by students of agricultural and environmental department of all academia. Awareness rising of community around Foladi can engage community in protection landscape, As community livelihood are directly affected by the any change in the landscape.
