Up-scaling production and marketing of briquette fuel and stoves.
The purpose of the project will be to upscale awareness, demand and supply of energy production and marketing for fostering the economy of women and youth through diversified production of briquette and improved cook stoves, market research and services for improving rural livelihood on a sustainable basis. The project will mobilize traditional institutions of the village/wards committees contributing their social responsibilities to the project activities. The project will set up new production units (14 energy producer groups, EPG) and provide technical support to SHGs.

Notable Community Participation
168 women and youths will be engaged for self employment in the production and marketing briquettes and stoves to the production of 59.40 lakhs of briquettes and 12,000 stoves. Community affairs will be look after by Village authority, women society and Youth club.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Community meetings will be conducted to provide the goal, objectives and activities components including role and responsibilities of the stakeholders. The communities will be facilitated for monitoring and evaluation, review project progress, lack and gaps of activities and take decision regarding solving the issues if any. Workshop will be organized for transferring the technology and implementation model to line department, NGOs and entrepreneurs for various programs of IWMP, NRM, NRLM, MNREGA, Forestry etc.
