Selecting appropriate communities is a vital first step in obtaining positive outcomes for integrated agric-business projects. The project will involve a total of 50 farming households with majority of dependents as youth. They youths participated in the needs assessment carried out before the development of the project document.

The grantee require capacity development in the area of landscape methodologies.

The livestock restocking and training in business skills will target the indigenous people. Specific methodologies including the use of local languages will be applied to ensure that they comprehend the training.

The project will invest in training programmes, public education campaigns and research to collect, analyze and spread results to inform donor thinking and programmes in livestock restocking in many places.

Training, workshops and web-based learning and dissemination mechanisms to reach the wider audience will be explored. Equally, greater involvement TV and radio and newspapaers will be used to enhance public understanding of the potential benefit of the project

Women and men have contrasting roles. The majority of the women cultivate crops and vegetables whilst the men are mostly engaged in mining activities. The introduction of this project will help bring them together for common course.
