Using traditional skills and knowledge to promote sustainable means of transport with aim
to ensure preservation of traditional navigation practice and promote sustainable
community living in response to climate change challenges with intention to use
local knowledge holders to share and pass on traditional sail weaving skills,
construct local fish traps, and worthy open sea canoe to allow transfer of skills to
younger generation. Outcome of project will be showcased at the 2016 Pacific Arts
Festival to be held in Guam. fine priiect would also support documentation of
/essons through documentary film production
