Contest of Short Films on Environment Awareness
?Contest of Short Films on Environment Awareness?, is project which is going to be implemented by Saba Media Organization (SMO) in partnership with its subunits (Saba TV, NAWA Radio 103, 1 FM, SAAJ Production and Fajer Designing and Printing Press). The project plans to mark the International Environment Day and promote the day among the general public through a short-film contest among young Afghan filmmakers/artists.
Gathering / collecting the videos from Afghan youth filmmakers / artists. Each film will be around 60 seconds, Broadcasting the 10 best short-films for 45 days starting on October 23 (5 times in 24 hrs at various times of day).
The films will cover the areas of Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Change Mitigation, Prevention of Land Degradation, Sustainable Forest Management, International Water Conservation, and Elimination of Harmful Chemicals. The films will be both national languages of Dari and Pashto.
