YCAN proposed for a Planning Grant to host their workshop and awareness raising of members in finalising their action plans. Additionally, validate research and data analysis of climate actions to be undertaken by 15 villages working with YCAN. Lastly was to hire a video consultant to formulate video proposal for the Samoa NSC to approve their full proposal.

An analysis is needed on the climate actions to determine how they will be delivered by each youth champions

It is expected that by the end or completion of our activities above that we are able to;
? Create partnership with key partners such as the MNRE DEC, Forestry Division, YWAM etc and UNDP/SGP
? Hire a local consultant to compile the video proposal and mentor, raise awareness on the project as well
? Level of awareness is increased through villagers supporting the youth project
? Able to complete the requirements of the Full Proposal and submitted to the UNDP/SGP office on Monday 30th November 2015
