- The Project Steering Committee and expert group developed consultation toolkit and conducted consultations with stakeholders, including the National Steering Committee, Office of the New Rural Development Programme of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change, Department of Biodiversity Conservation, International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, POP Office, VNGOs, INGOs (GIZ, UNDP, international institutions (World Bank) and embassies.

- Organized 2 consultation workshops, including 1workshop in Bac Giang to consult with stakeholders of the Red River Delta provinces and 1 workshop in Can Tho to consult with stakeholders of the Mekong Delta provinces.Communications has been strengthened to explain focus SGP on landscape/seascape areas for achievement of greater strategic impact through clustering of projects and achievement of synergies. Regarding Multi-stakeholder consultations, this consultation process has included the NSC and other key partners from government (especially GEF national steering committee), civil society, UNDP, partner agencies to achieve a broad consensus on the country programme approach in OP6


The landscape/seascape areas of focus of Red River Delta and Mekong Delta have been selected and discussed. The priorities in selected landscape/seascape have also been discussed with 13 provinces in the Red River and 11 provinces in Mekong region.
CPS has been finalized and endorsed by NSC/CPMT and submitted to National GEF Focal Point for STAR endorsement.
