Establishing Community Conservation and Natural Resource Management in Ishkashim district of Badakhshan?, to improve local management of biodiversity and forestry assets intended on creating long term resilience to shocks, promote development that is sustainable and optimizes resource use and management opportunities. The model once established can eventually be developed as a Community Conservation Area (CCA), which we hope will be the first CCA in Afghanistan.
