An evaluation with 30 women about the efficiency of stoves found that the ecological stoves generate less work for women to obtain firewood, they spend 64% less time; they are using 45% less firewood and 71% less coal. Many women stopped buying gas and for most of them, gas consumption dropped a lot, on average 73%. Food cooks faster and the time left over is being invested in some productive activity by 80% of the women interviewed; 17% of women are already using the stove for the purpose of producing some product for sale.
