The project that aims to promote conservation of Jangamo coastal-marine resources that are threatened by extensive agriculture and increasing tourism; the region has scenic beauty with rich marine biodiversity (dolphins, turtles, birdlife, coral reefs, etc) and also upholds coastal dune forests of environmental significance; local vegetation show a mix of plantations, mostly orchards together with patches of native forests and open savanna; integrated sustainable resource use will be promoted by local user groups.
