Under this project, drip irrigation system for around 10,000 trees is installed. The trees are all in around 40 hectares of land in a mountain side which belong to the communities. Besides training for 100 community people conducted that raised their awareness on various environment related issues which also helps them sustain all these projects which are carried out for them. In addition, six water reservoirs are also constructed that can help them in smooth irrigation of the thousand trees around the reservoirs. Besides a solar water pump is installed for irrigation of around 4,000 trees which used to be watered by human and animal resources and finally a training center is also constructed where the females will get trainings on various environment related topics.

All these activities were achieved through full community involvement and coordination. The projects are all discussed with the communities before start and all these activities meet their priorities. That is why the sustainability of these activities are guaranteed by the communities. Besides government support and endorsement was also received so that they support them while implementation of the project. Besides, it was tried that activities which are simple to be run and easy to be replicated were implemented so that the communities can run them.

The covered area for this project is Badakhshan and villages are Farmanquli in Tagab district, Khaja Maroof and Dasht-e-Qurugh villages of Faizabad
