Combatting burning of tires to reduce emissions of pollutants and gases
The project aims to reduce burning tires phenomenon to decrease emissions and toxic gases emitted from the burning method, which badly affects environment.
The recycling and re-manufacturing of rubber will be completed in corporation with ?AAla? factory, after buying a medium sized truck with a driver and a workman or more to transport tires to the center (1 or 2 times per week). Field trips by members of the center will be organized to the owners of tire changing shops in the south / Nabatieh to deal with them for a plan to collect tires and deliver them to the center, as well as visits to municipalities in order to describe the project and request their involvement by providing places for collecting tires so they can be transported by the Center to Alaa factory. Also, project will be based on printing posters showing risks of burning tires as a public awarness material and organizing a one voluntary day per month to collect tires.
