Seniniu Wailevu Women’s Sustainable Forest Management and livelihood initiative
Activities of this project will address Outcome 3 ?Local livelihoods sensitive to maintaining landscape natural assets within a sustainable exploitation context is enhanced, improved and replicated through community driven income generation and development initiatives?. To where the production landscape within the village boundaries will be utilized to generate income for the Women?s Club. A beautification project (replanting of flowering plants) to maximize the production of honey will also be supported by the projects. A direct result of this would be an alternate income generating opportunity for the women members without exploiting the natural assets of the surrounding environment
