Conservation of biological and ecological diversity in Horsh Armoun
This project aims to preserve the Horsh in Aramoun to preserve the biodiversity and cultural heritage by completing the rehabilitation of the horsh, encouraging eco-tourism, identifying the biodiversity in Aramoun horsh to develop a management plan with all stakeholders and raise awareness about its natural and cultural importance.
This project will be based on the rehabilitation of the infrastructure of Aramoun Horsh by creating ecotourism trails, playground amusement equipment for residents and outreach activities, with studies in order to identify the fauna and flora in the horsh and to encourage ecotourism in Aramoun. A booklet will be published to highlight the environmental and cultural heritage of Aramoun Horsh.
