Activities undertaken:
1. Conducting meetings among relevant organizations to formulate and confirm joint strategy and plans
2. Organizing 2 technical forums
3.Organizing exhibitions and knowledge stations
4. Evaluating and reporting

Results and indicators:
1. Best practices and experiences of GEF SGP Thailand being properly and efficiently disseminated to wider communities and publics (12 case studies)
2. Evinced wider collaboration and networks of CSOs (over 20 in number, including relevant public agencies) with aims to support sustainable development
3. More effective publicity of GEF SGP
4. Materials/knowledge pieces appearing in social media


Problems and Issues:
1. On Knowledge Fair and Open Forum:
- As the project duration fell on a period of civil unrest and change of government, coordination with stakeholders and implementation mechanism were affected
- Number of audiences for the 2 technical forums exceeded the estimated resulting in unexpected increase of expenditure
2. On case studies of 12 projects of GEF SGP
- several projects did not launch continued process on compiling relevant data & information or had adopted new approaches in sustaining project activities, delaying coordination to plan activities on the knowledge fair.

All these were addressed by
1. The project adapted and adjusted strategically, alerted itself and assessed overall situation.
2. The project planned alternative plans for any unexpected circumstances.

Experience , Lessons Learnt :
Capacity: 1. Activities undertaken under GEF SGP support were consistent with local concept and able to carry out to generate substantial
benefits, including enhance local capacity.
2. Administrative issues of GEFSGP projects (budget and management) was found to be appropriate.
Limitation: 1. The selected projects for case studies were apt to be of similar nature, i.e. micro-hydro, renewable energy, alternative energy.
2. Project duration of each GEF SGP supported project was rather short and would resulting in a less substantial result, even though some capacity was being built.

Recommendation:
1. In demonstrating substantial results of the projects for up-scale/ replication, GEF SGP should have a matrix or compile data/information for comparison, in spite of some ecological limitation.
2. Project concept and implementing mechanism of GEF SGP are consistent for sustainable development approach, however, to ensure more consistency, GEF SGP should be more aggressive on policy advocacy
