Activities undertaken:
1. Conducting one workshop among researchers and relevant stakeholders to confirm case study framework
2. Conducting one workshop to present primary result of case study to NSC
3.Conduction case studies in the field
4. Compiling, editing and publishing the case studies for dissemination

Results and indicators:
1.Compiled case studies on best practices of GEF SGP of the 12 selected project ready for printing and dissemination
2. Knowledge pieces in 4-clour printing book (1,080 books with 1,060 being disseminated) , and articles on best practices
3. Compilation of 9 video clips of 9 projects (350 DCs being disseminated) and photos of the 12 projects

Problems and Issues:
The overall quality of case studies and the knowledge piece (book) were assessed as good. However, there were some imperfect points regarding its essence , due to
1. lack of required writing skills of project leaders of some projects
2. delay in budget transfer causing time constraint for all concerned
3. less well planned interaction/coordination with other stakeholders such as the knowledge fair project

All these were addressed by direct on-line communication, step by step.

Experience , Lessons Learnt :
Positive: 1. Each project had more opportunity to reflect on the undertaken activities and result of the project.
2. Since the case studies were carried out by communities, they spoke the minds and mentality of the communities to the audiences.

Negative: Writing up experience into knowledge required specific skill on knowledge management. Therefore, if SGP wanted a better quality of case studies, technical advisor should be engaged.
