Implementation of energy efficiency technologies in the kindergarten to promote energy saving practices and mitigate climate change
The project is aimed to promote the use of alternative fuels through pellet boiler installation in the Lysychansk kindergarden. Pellets are environmentally and economically beneficial alternative fuel. Introducing the alternative energy practices and improvement of public awareness on this type of alternative fuel will reduce pressure on natural resources as well as contribute to climate change mitigation. A very important advantage of using wood pellets is that they do not pollute the environment. In modern conditions the wood pellets is one of the most environmentally-friendly type of fuel. It will be the first step towards improving energy efficiency in the region, helping develop innovative solutions and new technologies for saving energy and optimizing its use by the local people.
