Development of the Full proposal for the Establishment of counter – erosion measures and structures at selected areas of the Anse Kerlan beach Praslin, Seychelles -Anne Praslin – Planning Grant
The purpose of this planning grant proposal is assist the participatory planning and development of the Anse Kerlan Avant - guard community ?based adaptation project in collaboration with other national partners, for potential funding by the GEF SGP. The applicant has already started the process with this community-based organisation and conducted several sessions and site visits with them to determine the main issues and seek guidance from national partners in finding the best solutions to the problems for increased community ? based adaptation.
If they succeed in their application to the GEF SGP the planning grant applicant will work alongside the CBO members and other dedicated community members as well as local and national partners to facilitate partnership building and networking, to further measure progress in capacity development and to assist the effective management of their project.
