Policy Impact
Awareness programs will be conducted for the farmer community on climate change and adaptation measures.
Capacity - Building Component
Capacity development of Mahindagama community to engage in sustainable agricultural and livelihoods development activities to minimize adverse effects of climate change. Knowledge and skills of farmers on eco-friendly farming systems and organic home gardening will be developed. Farmer training and awareness programs are done through farmer field schools. Awareness programs will be conducted on climate change and adaptation measures. Skills training programs will be conducted to promote dairy farming for self employment activities.
