GOAL
Reducing the impact of climate change in Enggano Island through Coastal Forest Conservation, Renewable Energy development and
Increasing livelihood through Gnetum Cracker
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Conserving the coastal forest in Enggano Island through reforestration, renewable energy management and economic improvement by Gnetum Chips
Indicators : 1. Planting 5000 pieces Calophyllum
2. Existence of at least one location that is used as the location for breeding
3. Existence Calophyllum 5,000 trees and planted 1,000 mangrove trees in coastal forests damaged *
Activities : 1. Nurseries 5000 nyamplung tree (Calophyllum inophyllum L) and 1,000 mangrove trees that match the soil conditions in the area of coastal forest in the village of Meok
2. Making demonstration plots (demplot) for nyamplung and mangrove nurseries
3. Planting 5,000 trees and 1,000 Calophyllum and mangrove trees in coastal forests damaged
Objective 2 : Increasing the income community through the development of production Gnetum Chips
Indicators : 1. Formation of one group of artisans Gnetum Chips
2. Availability of 1 unit machine and tools supporting production Gnetum Chips
3. Product packaging obtain halal labeling of MUI, got permission from the health department
4. Gnetum Chips have branding and product packaging design
5. Promoting published by social media outlets throughout the archipelago AMAN
Activities : 1. Processing and marketing training Gnetum Enggano for group
2. Procurement of machinery and tools supporting production
3. Packaging, product design labeling halal, safety/health products from the health department/BPOM
4. Promotion gnetum chips Enggano through SAFE website, Social Media (Facebook) and Stand archipelago
Objective 3 : Strengthening local rules about forest conservation in the coastal village
Indicators : 1. At least 3 times FGD Document draft local rules. Minimum 30 participants consisting of representatives; traditional leaders, village government, Women and society
2. At least 50 copies of local rules were agreed upon and distributed to residents
3. A board containing information of local rules about forest conservation in the coastal village
Activities : 1. Workshops
2. Focus Group Discussion (FGD)
3. Socialization material / rules resulting from the Workshop / FGD
Objective 4 : Increased awareness of indigenous peoples to the impacts of climate change and renewable energy, and conservation of coastal forests in Enggano
Indicators : 1. Presence of 10 families who understand the usefulness of renewable energy to conserve coastal forests
2. There are three materials in coastal forest conservation-themed programs on community radio
3. Presence of the theme of the campaign posters and leaflets coastal forest rescue
4. Existence of a group which formed as a group manager of renewable energy
Activities : 1. Workshops
2. Focus Group Discussion (FGD)
3. Socialization material / rules resulting from the Workshop / FGD
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
1. There is Alternatives income for the community from non-timber forest products
2. Increased carbon storage inside and outside the forest area to Contribute in reducing global warming
3. Lombos (Amorphophallus konjac) production of 5 tons / ha
3. Women's empowerment of forest communities as many as 100 people and 75 men with income of IDR 40,000 per day
4. Increased marketing network for non-timber forest products (NTFPs products) to be marketed in Mataram

Direct : Approximately 118 people (Male 68, Female 50), ie the Pakuaha Hamlet, Pabuuye, and Naha Pabuuye. Involved in the production of chips totaling 27 people, members of the Business Group PAOBAH. For participant training / workshop of 40 people, the combined group solar shell chips & prospective technicians.
