KEA CLIMATE RESILIENT PROJECT
To reduce vulnerability to the impacts of climate change among farmers in Bbambula Parish of Mityana district by growing fruit trees which develop a deep tap root; growing Ficus trees, locally known as Mutuba among crops; diversifying crop production to include crops that mature in a shorter time; improving soil and water conservation, agronomic practices, crop storage and marketing; and promoting savings among farmers to improve access to credit.
