OBJECTIVES:

? To plant & conserve trees & plants on fifty acres community donated agriculture land in union council Seerani, district Badin.

? To create sanctuary for birds & other wild life in there, in the indigenious community ?Rakh? system..

? To, promote social forestory as a source of reducing poverty.

? Mobilization, awareness and capacity building of target communities about tree plantation.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES:
? Establishement of project office in Badin city, taulka Badin District Badin.
? Hiring of project staff
? Procurment of the office equipments
? Hiring of vehicle for project proposed activities execution
? 50 Acrs land preparation & cultivation
? Formation of 20 Plants Protection Committees (PPC) in UC Seerani
? Ongoing mobilization activities
? Conduction of 50 community awareness sessions for importance of trees
? 10 trainings arrangement with collaboration with Forestory department & district Govt for 100 members of PPC.
? Record keeping of the 20 PPC
? 03 trees importance awarness programs on FM radio
? 02 nurseries establishment in Badin & Seerani
? Acacia , Eucalyptus, Neem Tree & Khabar (Jar) for small sacle forest on 50 Acrs in UC Seeran, purchasing &preparation land, manure & plantation & 05 model villages in UC Seerani

? The healthy environment will be created through planting trees in UC Seerani Taluka Badin & District Badin.
? More than 500 Community members of selected villages of UC Seerani is sensitized & aware towards importance of the trees & would be encourage to plant the tree in their houses & villages.
? 100 local people of UC Seerani Taluka & district Badin are trained for establishing the nurseries, nurturing & growing the trees & plants.

? Through the plantation of trees land degredation is reduced in UC Seerani.
? Pollution reduced with small scale in villages of UC Seerani of Taluka & district Badin & pollution borne diseases declined.
? 20 Eco friendly Plants Protection Committees are established in selected project villages of UC Seerani & trained for sustainable natural resources management & nurturing in the target area.
