Project Objective and Proposed Activity
The proposed intervention will be supportive to reforestation and decrease environment degradation in the area.
Objective:
To involve communities especially women in environment friendly practices

Specific Objectives:
1. Involvement of all stakeholders especially local authorities and communities are aware of environmental issues
2. Provision of Insolated Metallic Stoves to 650 households

Following are major activities which will be conducted in proposed area for the better environment.

? Recruiting and Orientation of Project staff
? Base line survey
? Formation of 10 CBOs at village level
? Training of 10 CBOs
? 10 Awareness and Mobilization sessions
? 10 Bound building meetings
? 10 Meeting with Notable person
? Walk on environment day
? Management monitoring visits
? Coordination meeting with local authorities
? Training to Local Blacksmith on making of insolated metallic stoves (Shahbaz Stoves)
? Provision of 650 Insolated Metallic Stoves
? Provision of 650 RCC Pipes

Anticipated Results (not more than 300 words)
The results of this intervention will be seen in the form of better Natural Resource Management practices for environmental up-gradation. Following are anticipated results:
? Community is fully aware about their of miss-using of woods unknowingly damaging environment
? 90% of targeted community is benefiting from the insolated metallic stoves (Shehbaz Stoves)
? 60% reduction in wood consumption used for cooking and purposes
? Community is well aware about their natural resources and actively involved in better practices towards better environmental
? CBOs are strengthened and activated in the area and are echoing their voice against ill doings of people
? Contribution to improved health of the rural population particularly women and children by decreasing indoor air pollution and the risk of smoke induced diseases.
