Promotion of Energy Efficient Stoves for Conservation of Environment
Promotion of Energy Efficient Stoves for Conservation of Environment
The nature of the proposed activity is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions leading to global warming. The immediate objectives of the project are:

1. To identify and form targeted 10 community clusters in initial quarter of the project
2. To educate wood burning public with special focus on women about the importance of efficient, safe, smoke-free wood burning through 10 consultative meetings

4. To provide 750 fuel efficient new portable Shabaz Stoves designed smokeless to the targeted houses of the selected area in one year period
5. To disseminate the overall impacts of smokeless stoves on human health and forest conservation to 50 CBOs and NGOs of the area through 4workshops.
6. To raise awareness in schools and college students through 4 awareness raising sessions on global warming in one year.
