Overall objectives of the project

? To establish an innovative and technology based Brick kiln in District Sehwan in one year
? To diversified the 30 brick kiln owners with the technology with old traditional brick kiln in one year
? To train and share information with 30 CBOs and NGOs for the promotion and demonstration of improved Brick kiln technology in one year
? To manufacture 200,000 quality and low cost bricks in Taluka Sehwan, district Jamshoro in one year

Activities of the Project

? Utilize land as a share of NGO for the establishment of innovative Brick Kiln technology
? Establishment of Brick kiln yard 3KM away from the residential area
? Deployment of Labour and Supervisors
? Procurement of Manual block machines
? Construct one room for the Brick kiln staff
? Conduct Three (03) information sharing meetings with the union of Brick kiln committees
? Conduct two (02) trainings on the establishment of Brick kiln
? Conduct Three (03) one day training on the promotion and demonstration of innovative Brick kiln
? Design, develop and disseminate the IEC material regarding the Brick kiln technology that include more income and benefits
? Manufacutre 200,000 bricks in initial period of the project and sustain the business operations
? Development of business plan

? An innovative and low smoke brick kiln established in Taluka Sehwan, District Jamshoro
? Reduction in Green house Gases upto 40% in the operational area
? Increase livelihood opportunities of the surrounded villages
? Introduction and Promotion of Manual block machine
