Objective:
To involve communities especially women in environment friendly practices using insolated metallic Shahbaz Stoves to decrease environment degradation

Specific Objectivet#1:
Involvement of all stakeholders especially local authorities and communities are aware of environmental issues

Specific Objectivet #2:
Provision of 545 Smokeless Portable Insolated Metallic Stoves in targeted beneficiaries
Following are major activities which will be conducted in proposed area for the better environment.
? Recruiting and Orientation of Project staff
? Base line survey in targeted UC
? Awareness and Mobilization sessions in the targetted villages
? Coordination meeting with Notables and Village Activists
? Awareness Walk
? Coordination meeting with local authorities
? Formation and Training of 10 CBOs at village level
? Training to local blacksmiths and 2 tool kits for making Insolated Metallic Shahbaz stoves
? Training to households Women for using Isolated Metallic Stoves
? Provision of 545 Insolated Metallic Stoves (Shehbaz Stoves)
? Provision of 545 RCC pipes to selected beneficiaries for stoves
? Disetribution Ceremony of Isolated Metallic Stoves in targeted beneficiaries
? Monitoring Visits by Management Team

7. Anticipated Results (not more than 300 words)
The expected achievements are seen in terms of firewood saving which in turn will contribute towards reducing the land degradation process. The output of this activity will be seen in the form of better NRM practices environmental up-gradation.
? Community is fully aware about their ill-doings of miss-using of woods unknowingly damaging environment
? 95% of targetted community is benefiting from the insolated metallic stoves
? 50% reduction in wood consumption used for cooking and purposes
? Community is well aware about their natural resources and are trained in reforestation and actively involved in better practices towards better environmental
? CBOs are strengthened and activated in the area and are echoing their voice against ill doings of people
? Contribution to improved health of the rural population perticularly women and children by decreasing indoor air pollution and the risk of smoke induced diseases.
