GOAL
Mapping the potential for cooperation between the GEF and WALHI and formulate a joint work plan agreed to achieve a common goal WALHI and GEF.
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Produce joint work plan between WALHI and GEF in 4 regions ? namely Banusrama (Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara and North Maluku) at the national level.
Indicators : 1. The existence of potential cooperation WALHI mapping and GEF in 4 regions, and at the national level
2. The existence of the cooperation plan WALHI and GEF in 4 regions, and at the national level for a period of 1,5 years into the future
3. WALHI the identification and work plan for the medium term GEF
Activities : Workshop preparation of proposals for Bali, NTB, NTT, North Maluku, and the National Executive.
The workshop will be held in Bali, in January 2014 (the name of the place and date will be determined in more detail later).
The workshop will be held for 3 days, with a tentative agenda as follows:
Day-1: Mapping the challenges of natural resource management and the potential of community-based natural resource management in local knowledge of Banusrama
Day-2: Elaboration of joint planning between WALHI in Banusrama, WALHI National Executive and the GEF
Day-3: Continued elaboration of joint planning between WALHI in Banusrama, WALHI National Executive and the GEF
EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. The existence of potential cooperation WALHI mapping and GEF in 4 regions, and at the national level
2. The existence of the cooperation plan WALHI and GEF in 4 regions, and at the national level for a period of 1.5 years into the future
3. WALHI the identification and work plan for the medium term GEF
PARTICIPANTS AND / OR PROJECT BENEFICIARIES
Direct : 1. WALHI in 4 regions (Bali, NTB, NTT and North Maluku), consisting of 8 persons (6 men and 2 women)
2. National Executive WALHI (2 males and 1 female)
Indirect : 1. Eight WALHI assisted communities in 4 regions (Bali, NTB, NTT and North Maluku), or about 4000-5000 people, both women and men, where there is an average of 30-40% of women.
2. Local governments in four regions (Bali, NTB, NTT and North Maluku) and the Department of Forestry, and the Department of Marine and commitments in these areas.
3. Journalists in 4 regions (Bali, NTB, NTT and North Maluku)
