Project Characteristics and Results
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
High school students of Akhmeta municipality, local students and community involved in project activities will hear public lectures on ecology and environmental issues; as a result their awareness about geo-ecological problems of Mtatusheti territories, land degradation, biodiversity and etc will be raised
Notable Community Participation
Local students, high school students, and community of Akhmeta municipality will be actively involved in the project field work. 2000 pine seedlings will be planted by students and community members, in addition, one person from each village /each community will ensure site monitoring and management of newly planted areas.
