Improving protection and management of community possessed forest in Hongor soum and Mandal-Healthy environment-ecosystem NGO and CBO, namely ?Khamtiin itgel orshikhui? NGO and ?Tusgalt? CBO agreed to act as equal partner implementers under this project. Under this project the CBO intends to restore the CBO?s forest resources, protect biological diversity in a sustainable way and enhance the CBO?s capacity Also the NGO will develop a better community forestry practice by implementing a number of tree planting and demonstration activities to establish a community fruit park at the forest they possess as an income-generating source for community members in order to better tie them to the forest and forest conservation activities.
