Utilization of Water Hyacinth Becomes Biogas, Organic Fertilizer and Craft Industry-based Community
GOAL
The Existence the Water Hyacinth being an environmental friendly that economist and ecology in Tempe Lake
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : To Build the dealing between community, government and enterpreneurshing ro manage biodiversity potential in Tempe lake Area
Indicators : 1. Implementation of 1 meeting to involve elements of society, local government and relevant agencies and stakeholders to promote and provide an overview of the substance, purpose and desired outcomes of the implementation of the program.
2. Implementation of 1 meeting to involve elements of society, local government and relevant agencies and stakeholders to presented and provide an overview of the substance, purpose and desired outcomes of the implementation of the program.
3. Implementation of 2 times the monitoring conducted by the relevant parties to see the impact and outcomes of the implementation of the universal program.
Activities : 1. Socialization/Tudang Sipulung
2. Policy dialog and exposing
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
Objective 2 : To Increase community knowledge and technical capacity of coastal lakes Tempe (Rural & Urban Village Pajalele Laelo) Kab.Wajo in managing and using water hyacinth
Indicators : 1. 80% of the people in the two (2) program target areas are aware and concerned about the ecological importance of keeping and saving Tempe Lakes region as a source of livelihood and a source of clean water.
2. The formation of 7 (seven) working group (WG) with a membership of 150 people who developed plots (model) water hyacinth processing into biogas, liquid manure, compost and creative craft industry.
Activities : 1. Mentoring
2. Orientation and Strategy of program mentoring
3. Community Discussion
4. Field Study
5. Training about technic of the processing Water Hyacinth to being biogas, Compost and water fertilizer
6. Training about technic of the processing Water Hyacinth to being craft for women
7. Management Training and Entrepreneurship Development
Objective 3 : Encouraging of economic comunity increasing through Water Hyacinth utilization (organic fertilizer, biogas and craft industry)
Indikator : 1. Management of well-demonstration models of biogas (10 units), liquid fertilizer plots (5 units), compost plots (1 unit) and plots the creative craft for women (2 units) in 2 (two) program target areas.
2. 2. Publication of two (2) pieces of mail registration quality testing results especially for the production of liquid fertilizer and compost from the authorities.
3. 3. Tersiarnya publication and information through print, electronic media and websites related to the implementation and achievement of program outcomes and

EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. Working Group (WG ) which has been formed after the post- program will mengembangankan and assist the process of implementation referred to in building coordination and communication with the Government of the Village / Village and stakeholders .
2. In business development , results of water hyacinth processing products ( liquid manure , compost and craft business ) will offer creative and generally marketed both at local , regional level until after the feasibility studies and the results of quality testing by the authorities .
3. Hyacinth biogas technology will reflect technology that has been developed by the local communities , facilitated by BLHD Kab . Wajo and the National Program for Community Empowerment ( PNPM ) .
4. Appropriate technology and participatory in the sense that the learning process will be facilitated by the technical community has managed to cultivate plants water hyacinth into biogas , organic fertilizer and alternative craft and will coordinate with the District BLHD . Wajo
5. For each working group will be created in terms of the organizational structure including the division of tasks and responsibilities , while IPPM act as a facilitator and to optimize the role of companion IPPM field ( facilitator ) is a local resident who is expected to be the driving force after the program .
6. In order for these activities sustainable ( ongoing ) as an alternative economic community, then the model is a participatory approach developed by placing the group as the main actors .
PARTICIPANTS AND / OR PROJECT BENEFICIARIES
Direct : Beneficiaries directly related to the implementation of the program, specifically involved in the working groups of as many as 150 people with the following details:
- Management of Biogas, Liquid Fertilizer, and Compost: 5 Working groups (100 people / Village Laelo)
- Management of Creative Craft Industry: 2 working groups (50 people / Pajalele Village / Village Laelo)
