The main mission of the project is to combat climate change and demonstrate the methods of waste management in small towns of Ukraine. The project is going to achieve its objective by implementation of the following activities: - investigate storage of hazardous waste in the waste household in Rivne and awareness of people about the dangers of this type of waste; - conduct analysis of programs and decisions of local governments in waste management; - launch individual collection of hazardous waste with the participation of the public concerned, specialized companies and local authorities; - submit proposals for local government to establish a permanent system for collecting hazardous waste from households in Rivne.
